Become a Childminder Early Years Stronger Practice Adviser (EYSPA)

Are you an experienced childminder who is passionate about supporting others to provide the very best start for children?

The Greater Lincolnshire Early Years Stronger Practice Hub is looking to recruit an experienced Childminder Early Years Stronger Practice Adviser (EYSPA) to support childminders across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to share your knowledge, skills and experience with fellow childminders, helping them strengthen their practice through coaching, mentoring and evidence-informed professional conversations.

As a Childminder EYSPA, you will work with a small cluster of childminders, providing tailored support to help build confidence, encourage reflection and promote sustainable improvements that make a real difference to children's learning and development. Much of this support is delivered virtually, allowing flexibility around your own childminding business and the needs of those you are supporting.

Successful advisers will:

  • Support a cluster of up to four childminders each term.
  • Receive comprehensive training from the Department for Education's national training partner before delivering support.
  • Become part of a network of highly skilled Early Years Stronger Practice Advisers.
  • Receive £400 per day for the work undertaken, with funding provided to release you from your childminding business (inclusive of travel and subsistence).
  • Play an important role in improving outcomes for children across our region.

We are looking for experienced childminders who are enthusiastic about professional development, enjoy supporting others and are committed to sharing high-quality, evidence-informed practice.

If you would like to use your experience to support fellow childminders while continuing to run your own successful provision, we would love to hear from you.

Applications close at 9:00am on Monday 13 July.
