Qualified Teacher with SENCO Responsibility
Location: Kingsdown Nursery School (part of the Lincolnshire Maintained Nursery School Federation)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Flexible – full-time or part-time considered
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS 3-6 + TLR SEND Allowance

Are you a passionate, experienced teacher with a commitment to inclusive early years education? Are you a qualified or aspiring SENCO looking for a new challenge in a nurturing and ambitious maintained nursery school?

Kingsdown Nursery School, part of the Lincolnshire Maintained Nursery School Federation, is seeking a qualified teacher (QTS) with a commitment to leading high-quality SEND provision from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping inclusive practice for our youngest learners, while also teaching and contributing to our strong and collaborative team.

What we’re looking for:

  • A nurturing, reflective and experienced Early Years teacher with QTS
  • A current SENCO or someone who has completed the NASENCo qualification
    — or someone who has started or is willing to undertake the new NPQ for SENCOs
  • A strong commitment to early identification and support for children with SEND
  • Someone who can support families to navigate the SEND system
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in early years education and inclusive practice

About the role:

We are open to flexible working arrangements. The role could suit:

  • A candidate seeking a part-time role (e.g. 3 days a week) combining teaching and SENCO responsibilities alongside a 2 day Teacher colleague
  • A full-time candidate, where SENCO responsibilities are incorporated into a broader teaching post
